Philippe Fortin

Philippe Fortin works as an Open Data and Data Strategy Advisor at the Montréal Urban Innovation Lab, whose mission is to foster the emergence of innovative solutions to address major urban challenges. As a Engineer in Transportation Planning, he holds a Master's degree from Polytechnique Montréal and has more than 7 years of diversified experience in the private, public, parapublic and university sectors, which has allowed him to enrich his expertise in the management and enhancement of large data sets. He wishes to contribute to the development of a city that listens to its citizens through a culture of data and innovation in municipal practices. Ethics, respect for privacy and the common good are thus at the center of its interests.
